YOU’RE STRESSED

For starters, hide that chocolate. Women tend to turn to ice cream and other comfort foods when they get depressed or stressed out.
KICK THE HABIT it’s best not to keep tempting snacks near you. Make even your PC a food-free zone. But if you really need your ‘sweet’ fix. Get it from sugar-free gum. Or burst some bubble wrap, it’s a sure-fire stress reliever. Mindless chores can be quite therapeutic, so you could do some laundry or alphabetize your CD collection. And if you have to eat something, dry snacks, like roasted rice flakes and roasted channa or lentils, and dry fruits for those who aren’t overweight. “A handful of cashews, almonds and pistachios are rich in almost every nutrient, so you won’t be piling on empty calories.”
