KITCHEN LIGHTING

Pools of light and dark areas in a house help create interest in a staid space. The quality and quantity of light have a direct effect on how a room looks. Yellow light makes a room look and feel warm, while lighting has the opposite effect. Halogens provide a clear white light with the least perceptible effect on color. However, restrict your experimenting with light in a kitchen to dimmers, making mood lighting the only option.

RECESSED LIGHTING
Versatile and compact, these accessories are recessed in the ceiling ensuring you can only see the filament and not the fixture. They create a range of effects from narrow focused beams of light to boarder gentle washes and can only be fixed within a false ceiling.

CONCEALED LIGHTING:
Concealed lighting is a means of giving task as well as mood lighting. It would be an interesting option to line these against the skirting. This will illuminate just the floor and create a dim sensuous feel for the evening.
